Breakfast Club

We have a thriving breakfast club, which caters for over 50 children most days. It runs from 8:00am until 8:45am. It is a wonderful opportunity to have a great breakfast and relax with friends, as well as opportunities to finish homework and to read and draw. Parents are very welcome to remain with their children, chat to the Learning Mentors and share breakfast.

academy meals

Aspens is the company chosen by Pathways to provide our meal services.

We believe that the food children eat plays an important role in their wellbeing, and eating a well-balanced diet will not only maintain and improve their health, but will also set them on the right track for later life. We understand this and that’s why we are passionate about ensuring our students are served fresh, high-quality and locally sourced food that is cooked in our kitchen.

Attendance at the Academy is vital for a child’s development, both personally and academically, so we take a pro-active approach to attendance. Unexplained or lengthy absences are taken seriously and are reported to, and followed up by, the Education Welfare Officer, who also deals with persistent lateness. We ask that all parents support us in ensuring their child’s attendance.

Our Attendance Officer is keen to work alongside and support any families who are struggling with attendance. Miss Eugenia Kamozinova is able to support our Eastern European families who speak little or no English, by helping families with translation and attendance.

Please ensure your child arrives at the Academy on time. Children who arrive at the academy before the start of the academy day are welcome to attend our popular Attendance Officer.
