At Pathways we believe that music is for everyone, so every student is encouraged to develop and showcase their talent.
As well as nurturing creativity, we believe that music serves to improve confidence, self-esteem and teamwork.
As part of our commitment to music, we have a specialist music teacher to deliver our music curriculum. We have a dedicated room for music teaching, and have invested in making sure it is well equipped with a wide range of musical equipment, including keyboards, ukuleles and percussion instruments. Our music curriculum provides a strong foundation for future learning and pupils are challenged to play instruments, work together, create their own compositions and perform. During the year, pupils will be able to demonstrate their skills and confidence through a number of concerts.
Music brings people together and has a unique place in the curriculum.
